Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care in a safe and effective manner, promoting quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Perform nursing process while providing direct patient care, ensuring a safe and effective environment for patients and families.
- Function as a member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and research findings.
- Provide oversight for nursing care given by unlicensed personnel, ensuring accountability for patient care quality.
- Participate in quality and process improvement activities, contributing to the development of a culture of safety and excellence.
- 2 years/3,000 hours of experience as an Operating Room RN with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or 3 years/4,500 hours of experience as an Operating Room RN with an Associate's degree in Nursing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Completion of mandatory education and annual competency assessment requirements as defined by unit and system by due date.
