Job Summary

Raleigh Radiology is seeking a highly skilled MRI technologist to perform MRI studies for outpatients, coordinate patient care, and maintain professional standards.

The ideal candidate will engage with patients, assess their condition, and document relevant information.

The primary function of the MRI technologist at Raleigh Radiology is to provide MR studies to outpatients.

The technologist is responsible for the coordination of patient care, following established protocols, policies, procedures, and specific instructions.

The technologist must be ARRT (MR) registered.

The technologist works under the direction of the radiologist, which may include on-site or remote supervision.

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or commiserate experience with ARRT registration
  • Experience: Previous experience in a busy office or hospital is preferred
  • Certification:
    • AHA BLS certification is required or must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment
    • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT(R)(ARRT), at time of hire
    • Registered in MRI with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT(R)(MR)(ARRT) preferred upon hire
  • Licensure: None

Desired Skills

  • Basic patient care skills, including first aid and BLS
