Job Title: Senior Oracle DBA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle DBA to join our team at HCL Technologies. As a key member of our database administration team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance Oracle databases on Exadata platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Administration: Design, implement, and maintain high-performance Oracle databases on Exadata platforms.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve database throughput and response times.
• Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure minimal downtime and data loss.
• Database Security: Implement and maintain robust database security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to analyze issues, provide technical expertise, and ensure smooth database operations.

Requirements:

• 10-12 years of production support experience as Oracle DBA
• 6 years of strong experience on Exadata platform
• Expertise in database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and database security
• Strong knowledge of Oracle 11gR1/R2 RAC, Clusterware, and ASM
• Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and analytical skills
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Experience working with offshore vendors and large corporate environments
• ITIL Foundation Certified
