Job Summary

The Cemetery Groundskeeper at Everstory Partners is a dedicated and reliable individual who understands the importance of detail and providing exceptional service to our customers. This critical role is responsible for the care, maintenance, and repairs of the property, as well as the safety and security of employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all landscape maintenance duties, including weed-whacking, lawn mowing, and other related tasks.
  • Maintain equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist with funeral services and other functions related to the cemetery.
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Install or assist in installing cemetery vaults and headstones.
  • Handle day-to-day general maintenance duties, including snow removal (if applicable).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Grounds Superintendent.
Requirements
  • High School equivalency required.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle may be required for travel between locations.
