Key Responsibilities:
GENERAL PATIENT CARE: Attend to the comfort and hygiene requirements of patients by providing essential care services, including bathing, oral hygiene, hair grooming, bedpan/urinal assistance, skin care, and changing garments, linens, and bedding.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Aid in the execution of patient testing and treatment procedures, change dressings, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and collect wound and throat cultures.
EQUIPMENT ASSISTANCE: Support physicians and healthcare staff with the supply and setup of necessary equipment.
TRANSPORTATION: Assist in the mobility of patients using assistive devices such as crutches and facilitate transfer and transport processes.
COMMUNICATION: Complete required documentation and communicate effectively to address patient and family needs while adhering to regulatory standards.
QUALITY IMPROVEMENT: Utilize time and resources efficiently to enhance quality and cost-effectiveness in care delivery. Additional department-specific tasks may be assigned.
Position Requirements:
Education: Required: High School Diploma
Experience: Required: Less than one year of relevant job experience; Preferred: 1-2 years of relevant job experience.
Licensure/Certifications: Required: CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), Certified Nurse Assistant.
