Custodian Substitute

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Substitute Custodian to join our team at the Upper Valley Career Center. As a Substitute Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

• Anticipate and prepare facilities for school activities, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all.
• Perform daily custodial duties, including cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking supplies.
• Assist with setup and teardown of events, ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are available.
• Collaborate with staff to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.
• Maintain accurate records of supplies, equipment, and maintenance activities.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in custodial or maintenance roles preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
