Job Purpose: The primary objective of this role is to proficiently set up, troubleshoot, and operate packaging machinery to ensure the production of high-quality products in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Set up and operate various packaging equipment, including Labelers, Cartoners, Bundlers, Case Packers, and more.
  • Maintain a consistent supply of components for each machine.
  • Conduct line clearances and manage sublot changeovers.
  • Perform and document quality inspections and in-process cosmetic evaluations.
  • Record downtime and standard yield through data entry.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in packaging operations, is preferred. Relevant degrees or certifications are also considered.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong comprehension in reading and mathematics.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Skill in prioritizing tasks and making informed decisions.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including MS Outlook and Excel.

Shift Details: This position is for the 2nd Shift, Monday through Friday.

Compensation: Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with an additional shift differential.
