Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Occupational Therapists in conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' functional abilities and needs.
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to enhance students' progress and functional skills.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.

Requirements
  • Hold an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistance or a related field.

  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
