About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Optum, a leading healthcare organization. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Explain procedures and protocols to patients
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
  • Process and review images for proper identification and quality control
  • Prepare images for reading by radiologists or requesting physicians
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs on radiologic equipment
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • License to practice Diagnostic Radiology in the state of New Jersey
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience working as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Experience with Epic EMR software
  • Orthopedic experience
