Machinist Technician

Job Summary:
PEAK Technical Staffing USA is seeking a skilled Machinist Technician to join our team in the Die Shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to maintain all Die Shop equipment to meet production needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including lubrication and minor repairs
• Work closely with maintenance and service contractors to repair equipment
• Ability to understand all aspects of machining
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and measuring instruments
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Work schedule flexibility, with or without notice, to accommodate the needs of the business

Preferred Qualifications:
• Trained and certified through AFUSA's safety program
• Machining background
• CNC maintenance training
• Forklift certified

Physical Requirements:
• Continuous amounts of standing
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
