Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead multiple projects of moderate level risk, scope, and complexity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing overall direction and developing new business opportunities relative to specific clients or geographical areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and maintain liaison with clients to facilitate engineering and construction activities, including assessing project scope and resources required for successful completion.
  • Represent the company at bid meetings, project meetings, strategy meetings, and other applicable events.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate boundaries.
  • Plan, organize, and staff key positions through operational department heads or subordinate project/construction managers.
  • Supervise and/or monitor engineering activities to ensure project delivery in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
  • Provide technical assistance and recommend construction methods and equipment as needed.
  • Responsible for profit/loss accountability for managed projects and maintain good relationships with clients.
Qualifications
  • 4-year degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management; or equivalent education and 10 years of job-related experience if no degree.
  • 8+ years of job-related experience, prior project management/P&L experience preferred, including 4+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Project Management Certification from PMI is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, and standards and their impact on project activities.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with good negotiation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of construction, design, finance, and project management.
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize performance.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, on schedule, within budget, and safely.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience.
