About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Practical Nurse to join our team at the Department of Veterans Affairs. As a member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, conducting assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary range of $52,210 - $95,025 per year, depending on experience. You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where no two days are ever the same. Our team is committed to providing exceptional patient care, and we are looking for someone who shares our values and is passionate about making a difference.

As a Practical Nurse at the Department of Veterans Affairs, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from those requiring basic nursing care to those with complex medical needs. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, conduct assessments, and provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the appropriate State agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)
  • Active, full, current and unrestricted licensure as a Graduate Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia
  • Minimum 6 months of qualifying experience as an LPN/LVN OR graduation from an approved school and one year of experience that involved nursing care work in a hospital, outpatient clinic, nursing home, or other supervised medical, nursing, or patient care facility
