About the Role

First Student Shared Services is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with our vehicles
  • Assist with mobile emergency services
  • Complete work orders and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain a CDL (training provided)
  • Mechanic's tool set
  • ASE testing and certification a plus
What We Offer
  • $26 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
  • ASE incentive of $0.25/hour for each relevant ASE obtained
  • Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM full-time shift
