Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care while coordinating all functions within the unit.

In partnership with a multidisciplinary team, you will evaluate, customize, and improve nursing care outcomes, providing coaching and support to nursing staff. As a registered nurse with experience, you will have opportunities for personal and professional growth in a supportive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes.
  • Support improved outcomes and services by partnering with subject matter experts and leadership teams.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
  • Assist with staff scheduling.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse with 1 year of RN experience is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree.
