  • Answer incoming phone calls and field patient questions
  • Contact insurance companies for claims resolution
  • May need to contact doctor's offices or hospitals to clarify prescription information
  • Answer clients questions and address customer service issues when they arise
  • Learn our computerized software in order to train staff at our partner locations
  • Perform the usual tasks of a Pharmacy Technician from a call center without directly handling medications

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Pharmaceutical Technology (bachelor's degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience working in a pharmacy
  • At least a year of experience in prescription billing
  • Willing to be trained and train new staff on our pharmacy software
  • Exemplary verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Must possess valid state certification
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be fully bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Able to work in San Juan, PR
