Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support the communication and language development of students in grades K through 6th within our community.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
  2. Develop and implement customized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
  3. Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in small group settings.
  4. Foster collaboration with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals to facilitate students' academic and social achievements.
  5. Monitor students' progress and adapt intervention strategies as necessary.
  6. Maintain thorough documentation of assessment outcomes, treatment plans, and progress reports.
  7. Engage actively in team meetings, IEP gatherings, and other collaborative endeavors to bolster student success.
  8. Stay abreast of best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
  1. Possession of a Master's degree from an ASHA-accredited university in Speech-Language Pathology.
  2. Active state-level licensure and/or certification in Speech-Language Pathology, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Illinois.
  3. Prior experience in educational settings or working with children is preferred but not mandatory.
  4. Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
