We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Good Shepherd Med Ctr for a 13-week assignment. As a key member of our ER team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Care Planning: Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided.
- Medication Administration and Management: Administer medications as prescribed, monitor patients' responses to treatment, and report any adverse reactions or concerns to the physician.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and direct nursing staff, provide guidance and support, and promote a culture of safety and excellence.
- Experience: Three or more years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
- Schedule: Will work day/evening flex shifts with one or two other nurses and a full-time ER physician, with a schedule of approximately 36 hours per week, including every other weekend.
