Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Rosemount, MN for the upcoming school year. This full-time position provides an exciting opportunity to work across multiple school sites, delivering crucial speech and language services to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Therapy Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs, providing direct therapy services at various school sites.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to enhance student outcomes, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Progress Monitoring and Documentation: Document and track student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed, and ensuring compliance with school and state regulations.
  • IEP Meetings and Educational Planning: Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student educational plans, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
  • Education and Licensure: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution, valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Georgia, and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience and Skills: Previous experience working with students in a school setting is highly desirable, with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work effectively across multiple school sites.
