Restaurant Cashier Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Restaurant Cashier to join our team at Panera Bread. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash register area and surrounding environment
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds

Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 16; age 18+ preferred to operate all equipment
  • Some high school education or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
