We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Expert to join our team as a Diagnostic Technologist. This role involves performing imaging procedures at a technical level that does not require constant supervision, utilizing complex equipment for data acquisition and analysis.
Responsibilities- Properly identify patients using two identifiers and follow universal protocol during procedures.
- Review patient history and assess physician orders, applying departmental protocols for optimal data acquisition.
- Administer contrast per physician orders and document patient history in the electronic record.
- Ensure exams are properly coded and tracked through the RIS system, with charges adequately entered.
- Perform diagnostic radiography procedures without requiring supervision, utilizing established protocols and procedures.
- Work effectively as a team member within the department and with other departments to expedite patient care efficiently.
Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from an approved school of completion of the program and scheduled graduation date.
Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT-certified diagnostic technologist until the degree is verified.
Licenses, Certifications, and Clearances- ARRT Registry eligible as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Must obtain radiography registry within 12 months of hire date.
- CPR or BLS Required.
$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
