Job Summary

This role involves assembling, modifying, and installing electrical equipment and controls for industrial and commercial units. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Electrical Lead to ensure high-quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints to determine material requirements and assembly instructions.
  • Lay out and install electrical raceways, including conduit, wire ways, and cable trays.
  • Inspect and test house utilities and control wiring to identify malfunctions or defects using diagrams and testing equipment.
  • Provide direction and monitoring of work for apprentices, electrical helpers, and general laborers with electrical work duties.
  • Perform assembly and installation of electrical equipment and house utilities per instructions, specifications, and wiring schematics.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a National Electrical Code (NEC) certified journeyman apprenticeship or similar apprenticeship program.
  • 2+ years' experience as an Electrician in an industrial or construction setting.
  • Current Journeymans Electrical license in the state of Idaho.
  • Extensive knowledge of high voltage equipment.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the installation of electrical components of control panels and control houses.
