Parkridge East Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to join our team. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
- Provide respiratory, ventilator management, and monitoring for patients.
- Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of your healthcare team.
- RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- BLS required.
- Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer from non ICU area.
- Specialty certification preferred.
- One to two years clinical nursing preferred.
- ICU experience preferred.
Parkridge East Hospital is a 120+ bed facility that provides a full range of medical and surgical services, including orthopedics and robotic surgery. Our 24/7 Emergency Department is recognized by the Society of Chest Pain Centers as an Accredited Chest Pain Center. We also offer obstetrical care and complex gynecological procedures, as well as a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
