Job Summary

As a key member of the Oldcastle APG team, the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the development and maintenance of a comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance program. This will involve managing the repair and fabrication of equipment for the entire facility, as well as overseeing the maintenance staff and their workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Program Development: Develop, implement, and maintain a preventative and predictive maintenance program to ensure the reliability and efficiency of equipment and facilities.
  • Equipment Repair and Fabrication: Manage the repair and fabrication of equipment for the entire facility, including raw material handling, extrusion, and liquid polymer coating.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff to execute on preventative maintenance, capital projects, and emergency work.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to safety guidelines and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the maintenance program.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to ensure maintenance staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Budget Management: Establish and manage budgets for maintenance and capital projects.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee facilities maintenance and repair, including building maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, facility management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance or engineering, with previous experience managing hourly and salaried employees.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of facilities machines and equipment, machine troubleshooting and repair, and PLC ladder logic understanding.
  • Leadership: Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
