We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity IT Project Manager to join our team at Global Engineering & Technology, Inc. in a mostly remote position with some travel.

Job Summary

This is a highly compensated, high-responsibility technical management position that is central to our mission's success. As a Cybersecurity IT Project Manager, you will oversee and directly manage multiple cybersecurity IT projects, ensuring cybersecurity is built into IT projects to protect the organization's critical infrastructure and assets, reduce risk, and meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and directly manage multiple cybersecurity IT projects
  • Ensure cybersecurity is built into IT projects
  • Track and communicate IT project status and demonstrate project value
  • Coordinate with the department, project team, business unit managers, and the project management office to achieve product-oriented outcomes
  • Create, revise, and execute project documentation: project management plans, communication plans, test plans, risk mitigation plans, and configuration management plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have 5-10 years of hands-on IT Project Management experience executing the responsibilities described above. You must also have experience delivering cloud-enabling capabilities and direct correlation with knowledge and skills outlined in the sections below.

Required Education and Certifications:
  • Associates degree in a technical field and 10 years of related experience OR Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience
  • Technical field experience directly related to IT Project Management for classified cybersecurity operations will be favorably weighted when taking education requirements into account
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile certifications preferred
Required Knowledge:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Azure Dev Ops, and Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies
  • Knowledge of operational planning processes
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and information technology (IT) security principles, practices, and requirements
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $168,500, based on national averages.
