Key Responsibilities of the Lead Linux Systems Engineer:

  • Utilize extensive knowledge of both Windows and Linux environments to manage and operate networks and systems effectively.
  • Oversee, maintain, and enhance computer systems, devices, and software applications.
  • Facilitate software deployment, which includes planning, executing, and resolving issues related to the rollout of software solutions.
  • Administer certificate management services.
  • Provision and deliver IT systems and services efficiently.

Qualifications for the Lead Linux Systems Engineer:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux Systems Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Ansible, and SELinux.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Rancher, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Possession of an active IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA, CySA+, etc.) is required.
  • Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance upon employment.

Compensation for the Lead Linux Systems Engineer:

  • Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000/year (commensurate with experience)
