As a key member of the Healthy Pet team, you will manage a team of ~110 staff, emphasizing leadership, communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead operational teams to achieve business objectives, focusing on Safety, Quality, Efficiency, and innovation
  2. Develop and implement strategies to drive operational excellence, leveraging Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices
  3. Manage physical facilities, production equipment, and associated maintenance to ensure efficient operations
  4. Oversee personnel and equipment to produce high-quality products, meeting customer expectations
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute company goals and objectives for the Jesup facility
  6. Lead Continual Improvement initiatives to enhance processes, ensuring six-sigma compliance
  7. Review and improve operational procedures to optimize performance
  8. Develop cost-effective preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime
Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of P&L manufacturing experience in a $75m+ company, preferably in consumer products, pulp and paper, or related sectors
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience in Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Lean manufacturing
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, with a strong understanding of operational management
  • Competitive salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off
