Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring timely and productive patient flow within our Primary Care department. As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for patient triage, assessment, education, and counseling, as well as supervision of medical assistants. This role requires a RN with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and a passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Patient triage and assessment to ensure timely and effective care
Development and implementation of patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
Education and counseling of patients and families to promote health and wellness
Supervision of medical assistants to ensure high-quality patient care
Collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions

Requirements

Bachelor of Nursing Degree from an accredited institution
Current unrestricted Registered Nurse with appropriate State License
At least 5 years' experience as a RN, with experience in an outpatient practice setting preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities

Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The Clinical Nurse must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential, as is the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
