About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Die Maintenance Technician to join our team at Toyota Kentucky. As a key member of our Die Maintenance Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on casting dies in accordance with established standards.
  • Collaborate with the General Maintenance Supervisor to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Support in-line tryouts or line calls of dies, and perform emergency repairs as needed.
  • Conduct die modifications to improve surface quality and accuracy.
  • Work in a team environment to achieve common goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • 2-year associate's degree in a related field and 1 year of industrial maintenance experience, or 3 years of industrial maintenance/military experience.
  • Experience building and/or maintaining high-volume stamping dies, welding ability, spotting ability, and hand-finishing skills.
  • Knowledge of cutting and forming sheet metal stamping operations.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, with demonstrated success in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Technical knowledge and skills in tool and die, welding, and machining.
