Carbon Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead X-Ray Technologist to join our growing team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist clinicians in the diagnosis of disease and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Imaging Procedures: Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging; explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
  • Radiation Protection: Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
  • Image Preparation: Prepare images for reading by a Radiologist.
  • Medical Assistant Duties: Assist with Medical Assistant duties to ensure optimal patient flow.
  • Staff Meetings: Attend staff and departmental meetings.
  • Training and Certification: Complete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Tests.
  • Process Improvement: Proposes improvements to processes and workflows.
