We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Texas Oncology. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with cancer.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
- Care Coordination: Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination and timely access to necessary services.
- Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and families to promote self-management of cancer and its treatment, and to enhance overall quality of life.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care, and to promote a culture of safety and quality.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.
- Experience: 0-3 years nursing experience, preferably in oncology.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
