Responsibilities
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will prepare equipment before and during procedures, identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position and provide patient care, establish and maintain a sterile environment, serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participate in orientation of new staff. They will also use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager, and maintain strong professional working relationship with the physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS, and previous procedural area experience preferred. Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS and Basic Life Support training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
