Job Summary

MedStar Health is seeking a skilled Echocardiograph Technologist to support patient care across our four Baltimore Hospital locations. This PRN, Weekend Day Shift position involves traveling between multiple cardiology sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasounds on patients to ensure high-quality care and service.
  • Actively participate in quality assurance programs to maintain lab certification.
  • Coordinate patient care with clinical staff to ensure timely support.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and stored images.
  • Prepare preliminary diagnostic reports for physician review.
  • Provide patient instructions and answer questions related to scheduled procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate degree with a concentration in computer science or 1-3 years formal job-related training.
  • 5-7 years' experience post-graduation in echo cardiology.
  • RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) Adult Echocardiography - ARDMS-AE.
  • CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.
