Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior IT Program Manager with extensive experience in ERP Application Implementations to join our Project Management practice. This role is pivotal in managing IT projects for a prominent client in the healthcare and life sciences sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Define project objectives, scope, and impact while determining the best implementation strategies.
2. Collaborate effectively with global stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with IT strategies.
3. Utilize various project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, to guide teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
4. Manage multiple projects concurrently, providing regular updates and resolving any issues that arise.
5. Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, facilitating all necessary project reviews and escalations.
6. Proactively identify risks and issues, prioritizing tasks to ensure successful project completion.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years focused on Application Integrations.
- A Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience in IT projects.
- PMP certification is required.
- Experience with project management tools such as Planview is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Proven track record in leading application projects, including new implementations and upgrades.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams across various regions.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of articulating project status and risks to management.
- Self-motivated with strong critical thinking skills, able to guide teams through challenges.
