At Virginia Hospital Center, we are seeking a skilled Nursing Expert - Cardiac Telemetry Unit to join our team. This role is responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supervision to assigned personnel in the Cardiac Telemetry Medicine Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and indirect total nursing care of assigned patients.
  • Supervision of assigned personnel.
  • Interpretation of department and hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Nursing required.
  • One year of Nursing/Patient Care experience in an acute care setting required.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions required or Compact State Licensure in Nursing required.
  • BLS certification required.

Certifications:

  • ACLS: ED, ICU, CVICU/CVSD, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiopulmonary Rehab, Bronch Suite, Interventional Radiology, Radiology Safety Nurses, 6A, 6B, 7A, 8B, Labor and Delivery, Hemodialysis, Respiratory Therapy, Supplemental Pool Telemetry Nurses, and GI Unit.
  • PALS: PACU: Pediatric Nurses, EDNRP: NICU, Mother Baby, Labor and Delivery.
  • De-escalation training: BHU, ED.
