Beverage Specialists interact directly with patrons by crafting and serving drink orders. Their duties encompass verifying age compliance, understanding drink pairings and flavors, mastering the art of traditional and sophisticated beverages, processing transactions, managing stock, and maintaining cleanliness of bar equipment. We offer both full-time and part-time positions to accommodate your needs. Compensation starts at $12 per hour plus tips.

- Receive beverage orders from guests and servers.
- Prepare and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with the establishment's standard recipes.
- Accurately record drink orders immediately upon receipt into the register system.
- Process guest payments, handle credit card transactions, and provide change as necessary.
- Clean and sanitize glassware.
- Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks and appetizers for bar patrons.
- Maintain bottles and glasses in an appealing and functional manner to facilitate efficient drink preparation and promote beverage offerings.
- Clear and reset tables in the bar area.
- Present drink menus, offer recommendations, and address inquiries regarding beverages.
- Ensure cleanliness in all bar areas, including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage spaces.
- Serve food orders to guests seated at the bar.
- Report any equipment issues and maintenance needs to the restaurant manager.
- Assist in restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies.
- Be prepared to assist in various capacities to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant as directed by management.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, communicate effectively with guests and team members, follow instructions, learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- Previous experience in bartending is preferred; must meet legal age requirements to serve alcohol; high school diploma or equivalent work experience; TIPS certification is a plus; Allergy Awareness training is beneficial.
- This role is physically demanding, requiring extended periods of walking, standing, bending, lifting, twisting, and kneeling. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable eligible individuals to perform essential functions.
