Job Title: Construction Technician

At SERVPRO, we're seeking a skilled Construction Technician to join our team. As a key member of our restoration team, you'll play a vital role in helping customers recover from property damage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving punch list items, conducting final walk-throughs, and securing signed completion certificates.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate project updates to Construction Coordinators, attend pre-construction meetings, and provide daily narrative reports.
  • Construction Management: Schedule projects, perform construction services, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and local codes.
  • Subcontractor/Resource Provider Management: Maintain quality standards through site inspections, evaluate and rate vendors, and coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions.
  • Cost Control and Schedule Adherence: Ensure material suppliers deliver correctly, confirm budgets, perform construction services within budget, and validate schedules with Construction Coordinators.
Requirements:
  • Superb customer service track record
  • Basic written and oral communication
  • Basic math skills
  • Experience in restoration and/or construction preferred
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

Walking and/or standing throughout the day, frequent driving and sitting, performing construction services, and exposure to extreme conditions.

Working Hours and Travel Requirements:

This is a full-time position, working 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. Long hours, working on-call, and weekend work may be required, with some out-of-area and overnight travel expected.

Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
