Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' needs and create tailored treatment plans
  • Deliver hands-on therapy and exercises to enhance patients' mobility and functionality
  • Instruct patients and their families on appropriate techniques and exercises for ongoing improvement
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee comprehensive patient care
  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in accordance with the Georgia Physical Therapy Board regulations
  • Maintain ongoing collaboration with the Rehabilitation Director and clinical staff to ensure effective clinical case management

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience in a short-term rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Strong clinical decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to fulfill all health requirements, including a drug screening
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
