Position Overview

We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer I to join our innovative team. This role is ideal for individuals who possess the necessary skills and are eager to engage with cutting-edge technologies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and sustain authentication systems utilizing industry-standard protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect on the PingFederate platform.
  • Demonstrate a robust understanding of Multi-Factor Authentication through PingID, Identity Proofing via PingOne Verify, and Risk-Based Authentication with PingOne Protect.
  • Implement federated identity solutions to facilitate seamless single sign-on (SSO) experiences across various applications and platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate authentication and federation components into existing systems and applications.
  • Conduct performance optimization and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and scalability of authentication and federation systems.
  • Provide Identity & Access Management engineering services, including advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and monitoring of enterprise systems.
  • Implement security-centric IT products and projects to support organizational goals.
  • Work with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions for Identity Governance & Administration.
  • Assist end-users and administrators with authentication and federation tools and processes.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in Identity & Access Management to foster continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Be available for 3rd level 24 x 7 support on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining authentication and federation systems using PingFederate, PingID, PingOne Verify, and PingOne Protect.
  • Proficiency in authentication protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
  • Experience with Java, C#, SQL, APIs/Web Services, Windows Servers, Linux Servers, PowerShell, and Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with SIEM products like Splunk and tools such as Postman is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Identity & Governance Administration using Sailpoint IdentityIQ and Privileged Account Management with Delinea (Secret Server) is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing or desktop/web publishing capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Exceptional analytical skills for evaluating security data.
  • 2 - 5 years of security-related experience or equivalent is preferred.

  • Reporting to the Associate Director, Identity & Access Management
  • Schedule: Hybrid once or twice a month on site

Compensation Range: $88,800 - $142,200
