PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Demonstrate integrity, accountability, initiative, and respect in all communications and tasks undertaken.
  • Oversee the safe, compliant, efficient, and reliable execution of midstream facility construction initiatives, including gas processing plants and compressor stations.
  • Facilitate communication with project stakeholders, encompassing operations, measurement, SCADA/automation, and instrumentation & electrical teams.
  • Develop comprehensive project scope, technical drawings, bill of materials, timelines, and cost estimates/AFE's.
  • Manage construction activities in alignment with project scope, timelines, and financial plans.
  • Coordinate the contractor bidding process, selection, contracting, and change management in collaboration with legal and supply chain management teams. Ensure contractors adhere to project scope, master service agreements, and construction contracts.
  • Oversee material selection, bidding, purchase order requests, and delivery logistics in partnership with supply chain management, engineering, and operations.
  • Review and validate invoices to ensure accuracy in tabulations and completion percentages.
  • Initiate and engage in Management of Change (MOC) and Post-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) processes.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
  • Ensure all project documentation is complete and retained according to company standards.
  • Provide oversight to company inspectors and contractors.
  • Foster a strong service-oriented relationship with operations, engineering, and commercial teams.
  • When not acting as the Project Manager, collaborate effectively with the Project Manager to ensure projects are executed within approved budgets and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Possess knowledge of applicable codes, standards, regulations, and best practices relevant to the midstream sector (including API, ASME B31.3/8 and VIII, DOT 192, NFPA/NEC, etc.).
  • Actively seek opportunities for personal development and solutions that maximize value for the business unit.
  • Continuously assess assets to improve safety, mechanical reliability, operational flexibility, and capacity.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and respond to call-outs as necessary to meet business objectives.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of experience in gas plant/field operations, construction, maintenance, commissioning, or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
  • Knowledge of general construction practices utilized in midstream operations, including pipelines, measurement, compressor stations, and processing facilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Teams, and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of industry standards and codes, including ASME B31.3, ASME B31.8, DOT 192, ASME IX, and API 1104.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documents such as Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, Isometric Drawings, Electrical One-Lines, Plot Plans, and Navisworks 3D Models.
  • General understanding of both mechanical and electrical equipment and instrumentation used in the midstream industry (Manual and Automated Valves, Separators, Compressors, Pumps, Tanks, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential for interfacing with all relevant teams, personnel, and vendors.
  • Willingness to travel and work weekends and holidays as required.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
