  • Housekeeping Tasks: Vacuum carpets, spot clean as needed, dust and damp mop floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Identify and report broken or faulty equipment to ensure seamless operations.
  • Patient Room Preparation: Prepare patient rooms for occupancy, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for our patients.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Recognize and respect cultural differences, utilizing available resources to meet the needs of diverse patients, families, and visitors.
  • Professionalism and Integrity: Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and ethical standards in your duties, adhering to Doylestown Health's Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable laws.
  • Confidentiality: Comply with HIPAA privacy rules, discussing patient information only with authorized personnel in a confidential setting.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Education Preferred
  • Experience: One year of Healthcare experience preferred
  • Skills: Knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and equipment, as well as waste disposal and soiled linen handling procedures, and proper body mechanics.
