Nurse Practitioner

As a Nurse Practitioner with the Ozark School District, you will be responsible for providing high-quality health care services to students. This includes conducting health screenings, administering medications, and developing health care plans for students with special needs. You will also serve as a liaison between parents, physicians, and school staff to ensure seamless communication and care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct health screenings for students, including vision, hearing, and scoliosis checks
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Develop and implement health care plans for students with special needs
Serve as a liaison between parents, physicians, and school staff
Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for students
Requirements:
Bachelor's or associate's degree in nursing
License to practice as an LPN in the State of Arkansas
Pediatric experience preferred
Work Environment:
The work environment is a school setting, with moderate noise levels and frequent exposure to infection. The employee is directly responsible for the safety and well-being of students.
