We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to lead our 3rd shift factory operations and deliver high-quality products on-time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate the activities of the 3rd shift team to achieve production targets and maintain high-quality standards.
- Promote and maintain good employee relations, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, including Technical Support, Maintenance, Safety, and Quality-Food Safety.
- Monitor line performance and ensure output, labor, and material standards are met, aligning with HARIBO's high-quality standards.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Available to work flexible hours and days as needed to meet business demands.
- Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree preferred.
- Prior experience in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Prior experience with processing equipment in food/pharma manufacturing.
- Prior experience using SAP in a manufacturing environment.
- TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing experience.
- Basic knowledge of industrial equipment and industrial maintenance.
- Basic financial understanding to ensure business results are delivered.
