Your Daily Responsibilities:

• Prioritize, coordinate, and delegate all aspects of patient care.

• Advocate for and maintain a safe environment for all.

• Monitor and communicate with patients, families, and relevant care team members regarding significant events or changes in patient conditions.

• Prevent and manage wounds.

• Adhere to Joint Commission infection control and environmental care standards.

• Ensure seamless care, efficient patient flow, consistent communication, and an exceptional experience for every individual.

• Consult with supervisors when assignments cannot be completed promptly, effectively, or safely.

• Initiate education for patients and families using appropriate resources and care services, addressing any questions or concerns.

• Contribute to the team by assisting colleagues without being prompted.

Essential Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:


• Active nursing license to practice in the relevant state as defined by the state nursing board.

• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

• Current ACLS, CPI, and PALS certifications.

• (New graduates must obtain within six months of hire).

• Current TNCC certification (specific to certain ERs).

• ENPC certification (can substitute for PALS at specific ERs).

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the Emergency Room and knowledge of ER nursing practices.
