Job Summary

Venteon is seeking a highly skilled 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work safely and follow established safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Lead the development of cells during launch, troubleshooting and correcting tooling, robotic, controls, weld cycles, and other equipment-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and implement remedial actions to minimize downtime.
  • Support data collection for cell and product improvement initiatives.
  • Inspect machinery for defects and potential problems, and perform repairs and replacements as needed.
  • Perform general equipment maintenance duties, including cleaning, oiling, and greasing machines.
  • Program robots for sealants, adhesives, mastics, MIG, and resistance welding.
  • Advise the Facilities Manager on replacement parts and make adjustments to welding programs as required.
  • Lead efficiency and cycle time improvement initiatives.
  • Train associates in welding, robotics, and PLCs as needed.
  • Set up robotic welding stations and adjust equipment and welding fixtures to ensure high-quality welding.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electric/electronic system faults, tune equipment, and ensure adequate controls and safety measures are functional.
  • Perform monthly and yearly electrical maintenance procedures and repair or replace parts as needed.
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and comfortable work environment by applying the principles of the 5S discipline.
  • Assist in documenting current processes, equipment settings, and downtime codes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fanuc or Nachi robot expertise.
  • Resistant welding experience.
  • Basic mechanical and pipe fitting skills.
  • Ability to work safely and follow established safety procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
