About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Utilization Review Coordinator to join our team at Ridgeview Institute Smyrna. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and that their treatment plans are optimized for their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: You will work closely with our treatment team to review patient treatment plans and advocate for additional services as needed.
  • Utilization Review: You will conduct thorough reviews of patient treatment plans to ensure that they are aligned with the patient's needs and that the most effective use of resources is being made.
  • Communication: You will maintain ongoing communication with our treatment team, including attending treatment team meetings and providing updates on patient progress.
  • Documentation: You will maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient treatment plans and progress.
Requirements
  • Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, such as social work, mental health, or nursing.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting, with experience in patient assessment, treatment planning, and utilization management.
  • Licensure: A valid driver's license in the applicable state.
