Responsibilities Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NCDOT traffic control standards and regulations. Key responsibilities include developing and delivering comprehensive training programs, conducting classroom and field training sessions, creating engaging training materials, assessing trainee performance, staying current with industry developments, and collaborating with project teams.

Requirements:

  • NCDOT Standards Knowledge: Strong understanding of NCDOT traffic control standards and regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Teaching Ability: Proven ability to teach and train a diverse audience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a traffic control flagger or supervisor.
  • Certification: Certification in traffic control safety.
  • Training Experience: Experience developing and delivering training programs.
