School Nurse Substitute

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled School Nurse to join our team on a per diem basis.

Responsibilities:

* Provide nursing care to students and staff
* Administer medications and treatments as needed
* Conduct health screenings and assessments
* Develop and implement health education programs

Requirements:

* Current NYS license as a Registered Professional Nurse
* CPR/AED AHA or ARC current certification
* Minimum three (3) years of hospital, outpatient clinic/office or Emergency Room experience
* Possess knowledge of emergency care in injury and illness, injury/illness triage and treatment skills
* Be able to dispense medication safely
* Pediatric/adolescent experience preferred, Computer skills highly desirable
