Job Responsibilities:
  • Participate in agile teams as a key contributor, focusing on design and development of applications.
  • Perform program design, coding, testing, development, and documentation activities for complex and inter-related applications.
  • Consult with users to determine project scope and develop cost/time estimates and value-add impact for assigned projects/programs.
  • Provide leadership and communicate rationale for recommended action.
  • Draft and/or revise Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs).
  • Participate in integration, training, and implementation activities.
  • Develop technical specifications, development approaches, and time requirements for average to large size projects or packaged software implementation.
  • Report status updates accurately to IT and/or business leaders.
  • Mentor and/or provide on-the-job training to less experienced developers.
  • Provide workable solutions to fix project delays.
  • Refine and update technical/business skills and experience through work assignments, advanced technical/business training, and attending professional/business industry conferences.
  • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of programming experience required.
  • 5+ years of programming with RPG required.
  • SQL experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
  • Must be able to influence others.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities appropriately.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must be able to collaborate with others.
