Location: Sutton, WV

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift Details:
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Nights
  • Every other weekend

Candidate Type: Local or Travel Candidates

Compensation:
$48/hour blended rate

Pay Breakdown:
  • Weekly Travel Stipend: $32/hr
  • Weekly Taxable Income: $16/hr

Overview:
We are looking for a committed Licensed Practical Nurse to be part of our healthcare team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong dedication to patient care and a solid medical background.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct patient care in various healthcare environments, including clinics and medical offices.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians.
  • Assist with minor surgical procedures, including suturing and wound care.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Maintain precise medical records utilizing ICD9 coding.
  • Perform gastric lavage when required.
  • Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:
  • Must hold a valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
  • Previous experience in emergency medicine, infant care, or durable medical equipment is advantageous.
  • Proficient in various medical procedures and techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new healthcare practices.

Job Types:
