Behavioral Therapist

Horizon Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Behavior Technician to join our team in Hazlet, NJ.

As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children with autism and related developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing 1:1 instruction to students in a classroom setting
• Collecting and maintaining accurate data and clinical notes
• Attending to students' physical, personal, and emotional needs
• Implementing treatment plans and preparing program materials
• Communicating effectively with the BCBA regarding students' progress

Requirements include:

• RBT Certification
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to understand students' needs
• High school diploma or equivalent; associates or bachelor's degree preferred
• Must have or be willing to get fingerprinted by the Board of Education
